Inspirational Story:
In a small hamlet embraced by verdant hills, a boy called Evan was born to a family too poor to afford even the slightest comforts. His father was a weaver, toiling in the hot sun to provide for his family, and his mother was one who led him to believe in destiny. She used to tell him, "Everything happens for a reason, my son. Destiny itself has its own plans." Motivation
However, Evan never believed in this. He believed in hard work and putting in efforts, and not letting some unseen forces beyond his control his life. He dreamed of becoming a scholar; he couldn't actually afford to live that dream and instead worked as a weaver just like his father.
One evening, while taking a cloth to a merchant, Evan saw a group of scholars discussing some topic outside a palatial-looking mansion. Their words, laden with wisdom, intrigued the boy. He lingered at the site, listening intently, until one of them noticed him.

"You seem interested, young man," the scholar said.
"I want to learn, but I have no means," Evan replied in all honesty.
The scholar, impressed with his honesty and eagerness, offered him one such book. "Fate brought you here today. Read this, and come back if you wish to learn more."

Evan spent many months reading by the dim light of a candle after long toiling hours weaving. He returned to the scholar-the man could see his made-for-greatness potential-and the scholar would recommend him to a noble family who would sponsor his education. Years went by, and at the end of this period, Evan became an internationally-renowned teacher, inspiring others just as he had once been inspired.
One day, while walking through the market, he saw a small boy with bare feet and an empty stomach, staring longingly at books through the window of a shop. Evan smiled and transferred a book from his hand to that of the boy.
"Fate brought you here today," he said.

At that moment, he realized that his mother was right after all-fate did have a plan, but it worked through the choices.
